The Position:
We are seeking a full-time Civil Litigation Paralegal to join our talented legal team in Albuquerque, NM. This role offers a hybrid work model. (Remote position, however, must live within driving distance to the local office as occasional onsite work may be required.) Experience in the areas of Construction Defect Litigation (developer representation) General Casualty/PI preferred, but recent Litigation is a must. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with Senior Partners and ideal candidates will excel in research, writing and discovery processes. Strong document management skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive statutory, regulatory, and factual research for client matters, including in-depth analysis of federal and state laws.
- Compiling, preparing, and summarizing relevant materials for discovery.
- Support the preparation of court filings by verifying proper citations, proofreading documents, and assembling necessary exhibits and appendices.
- Manage document discovery workflows, including tracking and organizing produced and received materials.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys and clients throughout all stages of active cases, providing essential support and coordination.
- Offer trial support, including creating demonstrative aids and providing in-court assistance with presentations and logistics.
- Oversee case calendars and deadline management, including complaint service and discovery response timelines, to ensure attorneys are promptly informed of all critical dates.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of Litigation Paralegal experience
- Proficiency in current state and federal rules of civil procedure
- Exceptional multitasking abilities, combining analytical and problem-solving skills in a dynamic, high-pressure environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities
- Ability to work effectively both autonomously and collaboratively
- One of the following: Bachelor's degree, ABA-approved paralegal certificate, or equivalent professional experience

The anticipated compensation for this role falls between $68,000 and $70,000 annually. While we expect to offer a salary within this range, the final figure will be determined based on several factors, including the selected candidate's expertise and background.
